Everyone has the right to be protected from harm or abuse and staff and volunteers working with vulnerable people have a particular role in supporting them to feel safe.

This ranges from understanding what adult abuse or safeguarding is; being able to recognise when it is happening, how to raise concerns and working with protection agencies to support vulnerable individuals used.
